Construction Project Manager - Commercial GC - Base Salary to 120k/year - Dublin, OH

• Our client is a family-owned GC that takes on projects nationwide, with the majority in Ohio. They work on everything from big box retail to offices and medical buildings, all private sector construction ranging from 5 to 25 million dollars. They have been in business since 1977, and pride themselves on their repeat work earned and their collaborative culture.
• In this role, the Construction Project Manager will be coordinating closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and owners to drive projects to completion. This will involve working closely in the office with the Estimating and Operations teams, and visiting local and out of state sites occasionally. The Construction Project Manager should have extensive Project Management experience in commercial construction, preferably with big box retail experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze blueprints, specs, contracts, and other documentation
• Collaborate with Operations teams across different locations
• Develop scopes of work for various disciplines
• Work with project team to obtain permits
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
• Work in conjunction with the various team members and stakeholders throughout the construction process
• Manage evaluation of costs and impact of revisions, change orders, etc.
• Maintain constructive relationships with subcontractors, clients, and site personnel
• Coordinate closely with high profile clients through all stages of assigned projects
• Work primarily out of the Dublin office, with visits on site for local projects as needed, and occasional out of state visits (~every few weeks)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• 3+ years PM experience at a commercial GC
• 5+ years experience in commercial construction
• Big box retail construction experience is a plus
• Must be able to work full time in the Dublin, OH office, with occasional travel for site walks
• Proficiency with Excel required, PM software experience preferred
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret plans and specifications
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 100k – 120k/year range
