Construction Project Manager - Architectural Metals - Base Salary to 130k/year - Queens, NY

• Our client who is a leading commercial metal fabrication company in Queens is seeking a Construction Project Manager with experience in ornamental metals, enclosures, architectural metal systems, and custom mechanical components. The department is newly restructured, offering major opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from award to closeout for commercial metal fabrication and installation work
  
• Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and submittals
  
• Coordinate with estimating, shop fabrication, purchasing, and installation teams
  
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
  
• Lead communication with GCs, vendors, and internal teams
  
• Conduct site visits to verify field conditions and ensure project accuracy
  
• Manage change orders, RFI processes, and material tracking
  
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial metal fabrication, ornamental metals, or architectural components
  
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural & structural drawings
  
• Experience managing multiple fast-paced commercial projects
  
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (Excel, PDFs, scheduling tools)
  
• Field or shop knowledge is a plus

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 75k - 130k/year range
• Yearly performance bonus
