Construction Project Manager – Commercial Roofing - Base Salary to 100k/year – Fargo, ND
- Our client is a commercial roofing company specializing in low slope flat roofing, all singly ply membrane. They are a family-owned company that has been servicing Fargo and the surrounding areas for over 30 years, and pride themselves on their safety, quality, and loyalty.
- In this role, the Construction Project Manager will be meeting with potential customers, selling services, estimating jobs, then managing the projects through to completion. They need self-starters with commercial roofing project management and estimating experience who can put out quality work in a relaxed, but tight knit environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read drafting or architectural building prints and perform takeoffs
- Make sales bids to purchaser
- Perform site visits / bid walks as necessary
- Call on architects and contractors to sell products / installation
- Work with vendors to get the best material quotes, purchase materials
- Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish
- Check jobs in progress for quality control, perform timely evaluations on current installations and crews
- Perform change orders as required
- Ensure pay requests are accurate and assist with collections on past due accounts
- Ensure company profitability and maximum market share
- Travel to job sites using company vehicle as necessary (~25% in field)
- Implement and enforce on the job safety as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in commercial roofing
- Experience in Project Management and Estimating
- Proficiency with Estimating software, computer savvy
- Strong leadership and customer service skills, able to sell jobs/services
- Based in or willing to relocate to Fargo, ND (relocation provided case-by-case)
- Good driving record, ability to travel to job sites throughout the region (field time ~25%, jobs are mostly within 2 hours, but up to 5 hours away)
- Ability to read architectural and engineering prints
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with others and present ideas effectively, orally and in writing
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 70k – 100k/year range, dependent on experience
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation bonus for eligible candidates
