Construction Project Manager – Asphalt and Concrete Company – Base Salary to 90k/year - Charleston, SC
- Our client is a nationwide provider of asphalt and concrete services. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, our projects are primarily completed throughout the country. They are a small company that is rapidly growing. Our client handles both capital and maintenance projects, and prioritize their employees.
- They are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of asphalt and concrete projects. This position requires travel throughout the United States, in 36 states. Candidates for this position can be located anywhere in the United States with access to a commercial airport. Project work includes, but not limited to, the following states: TX, OK, CO, FL, WY, AZ, MS, IN, LA, VA, MD, MN, MO, KS, UT, CT, NY, NJ, NC, SC, PA, TN, AK, NV, KY, OH, MT, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Striping, signage, and site maintenance projects.
- Oversee Asphalt paving / Concrete crew production schedules with vendors and colleagues, maintaining phasing, schedules, and budgets. Experience in ADA and grade elevations.
- Complete and track daily reports, material quantities progress, and photos as needed.
- Track and report on the job time and expenses.
Qualifications:
- 75% Travel required, up to two weeks at a time. Weekend availability required.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial civil construction field
- 5+ years of Project Management experience, required
- 5+ years of experience in the paving industry, required
- High school or equivalent, preferred
- Industry knowledge in Asphalt and Concrete with the ability to read construction plans, quantity takeoffs, field measurements,
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 75k – 90k/year range
- Profit sharing and bonus.

- Company Vehicle after 6 months. Rental car provided for out of state travel.
- 2 credit cards and $50 per diem.
