- Our client is a family-owned GC that has been operating in New York since 1969. They are one of the leading commercial building GC/CM's located in Westchester County with projects in Westchester, Lower Hudson Valley, NYC & Connecticut.
- Our client is currently looking for a Construction Project Engineer for their team in Goldens Bridge. The Construction Project Engineer will manage all aspects of construction approvals, constructability reviews, trade and scope coordination. This position requires a solid understanding of construction means and methods, time management and organizational skills. Any CAD/BIM experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Compile required submittal log based on contract documents for new projects
- Facilitate project contractor/vendor on-boarding for new projects
- Develop submittal schedule to ensure timely submission of construction documentation including contractor safety documentation
- Review and process submittals for all trades contractor/vendors
- Review and process RFI for all trades contractor/vendors
- Maintain current set of construction documents including bulletin, sketch and RFI updates
- Conduct scope coordination between general trades based on approved submittals and coordination drawings prior to construction
- Conduct MEP coordination for all mechanical trades based on approved submittals prior to construction
- Attend contractor meetings as requested by the project manager
- Assist in scope coordination/constructability issue resolution during construction as requested by the project manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college in engineering, architecture or business administration preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction for large construction projects
- Working knowledge of CAD/BIM tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 110k/year
- Bonus potential

What did you want to be when you grew up?
From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face. When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face. So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player! Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good. I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true. I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting. Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!
