Construction Manager – Residential Construction – Base Salary to 150k/year + Bonus – Palm Beach Gardens, FL
- Our client is a management real estate entity with a focus on mortgage servicing as well as property renovation/construction and management entities.
- The Construction Manager will oversee residential construction projects for our Company REO Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, including renovations and new ground-up residential construction.
- Assist with the coordination of vendors to ensure that repairs, renovations, and construction projects are moving along as directed.
- Coordinate internally and externally for prompt resolution of any pending maintenance and/or repair requests.
- Update and maintain Construction Management Software with appropriate property and vendor data, as needed
- Assist in the oversight of work performed and preparation of status updates and reporting for all construction/renovation properties in the portfolio.
- Ensure that all projects have an approved scope and estimated budget and assist in the resolution of any change orders and/or delays.
- Maintain a list of all current vendors based on geographic location, scope of work and ensure that vendors are properly matched to the appropriate jobsites, and ensure all vendors maintain required insurance.
- Properly track inventory relating to ongoing projects.
- Review regular progress reports and address any concerns regarding timing and/or cost.
- Work with legal team to review and negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
- Ensure quality construction standards on all renovations/construction projects.
Requirements:
- General Contractor/Building License
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must be willing to travel in Florida and respond to emergency demands
Compensation:
- Base salary to 150k/year + bonus
- PTO and benefits package
