Construction Estimator - Panelized Structures and Metal Trusses - Base Salary to 120k/year - North Kansas City, MO

• Our client is seeking a Construction Estimator  to oversee the estimation, planning, and execution of cold-formed steel (CFS) panelized structures and metal truss projects. The Construction Estimator role requires a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with expertise in CFS and metal truss systems. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bidding, efficient project management, and on-time, on-budget delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the engineering and estimation processes for panelized structures and trusses used in high-rise and multifamily housing projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to create accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, fabricators, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive proposals.
• Ensure alignment of engineering designs with project budgets and timelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from pre-construction to final completion.
• Coordinate with design, fabrication, and field teams to ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and schedules

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in estimating and project management, particularly with CFS panelized structures and metal trusses.
• Experience managing projects for high-rise and multifamily housing is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of cold-formed steel construction, truss systems, and panelized assemblies.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating and project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Procore).

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range
