Construction Estimator - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 120k/year - Phoenix, AZ
- Our client is a certified manufacturer of custom architectural millwork and commercial interior elements with a focus on lobbies, restaurants, casinos, ballrooms, etc. They are looking for a Construction Estimator for their team in Phoenix.
- The Construction Estimator will produce accurate cost projections for large-scale commercial projects. This role will require strong attention to detail, the ability to analyze architectural drawings, and expertise in estimating materials, labor, and overall project costs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate bid opportunities and qualify projects.
• Accurately estimate material, labor, and project costs.
• Perform take-offs from architectural drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate pricing.
• Verify shop drawings and material cost accounting.
• Identify and resolve cost discrepancies.
• Assist in project bid presentations and scope reviews.
• Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the bid process.
• Develop a Schedule of Values for awarded projects.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams.
• Support pricing adjustments, ASIs, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- 5+ years in estimating within the architectural millwork industry.
- Strong understanding of AWI standards, woodworking, and cost schedules.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and take-off methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 120k/year
