- Our client is seeking a Construction Estimator (internally titled Construction Estimator and Project Manager) to join their team. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely estimates. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing projects from initial estimation to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing projects.
- Manage all phases of roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project schedules and materials.
- Utilize estimating and project management software to streamline processes (experience with software is a plus but not required).
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project specifications and safety standards are met.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with estimating and project management software is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 110k/year
