- Our client is a family-oriented company based in the Longwood, FL area, specializing in steel fabrication and miscellaneous metals. They have a commitment to excellence and a strong focus on attention to detail and strive to deliver high-quality results. They were founded in 1994 and as they continue to grow, they are seeking an Estimator to join their team.
- As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in project planning and cost estimation processes. You will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive cost estimates.
Responsibilities:
- Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
- Select, measure, and track important metrics
- Requesting quotes from vendors, complete proposals, submitting quotes for projects
- Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts
- Create and present reports to upper management
- Analyze and evaluate offers
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial steel fabrication
- Strong estimation skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 90k/year depending on the candidates experience.
- Health insurance coverage with company
- PTO

What did you want to be when you grew up?
From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face. When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face. So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player! Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good. I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true. I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting. Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!
