Commissioning Scheduler – General Construction Firm – Base Salary to 105k/year – Chandler, AZ

- The Commissioning Scheduler will work within the Scheduling Department and will report to the Scheduling Manager. They will work closely with the project team, including the Scheduling Manager, construction team, and the Commissioning team to coordinate the interface between the master schedule and the commissioning system. Responsibilities include building and maintaining equipment startup sequences, managing data input, and inputting status updates & forecasts, and reporting. This position will be fully at the project site.
Responsibilities:
- Use Primavera (P6), Excel, and Exto to coordinate construction and commissioning schedules.
- Map P6 construction and commissioning activities to Exto with support from the Commissioning Team.
- Maintain alignment between P6 & Exto content and dates.
- Maintain P6 logic ties and sequencing.
- Provide reports, key performance indicators, and analysis of variances to be used by the team to manage the project.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience using P6 scheduling software and/or commissioning databases, such as Exto, required
- High School Diploma or GED required – Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
- Ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and master new software and concepts.
- Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude through high-pressure situations.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Patience and professionalism are essential.
- Highly developed visual observation and interpretation skills with the ability to recognize patterns and trends.
- Must be a strong team player with the ability to collaborate with various personnel within and across departments and at all levels of leadership.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 85k - 105k/year range depending on experience.
