Commercial Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 140k/year - Minneapolis, MN
- Our client is a subcontractor that works on commercial construction projects, handling demolition and large scale specialized carpentry business. The organization is based out of the Twin Cities and performs work across the state of Minnesota. Our client is currently seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze blueprints, specs, contracts, and other documentation
- Collaborate with Operations teams across construction locations.
- Develop scopes of work for various disciplines
- Work with project team to obtain permits
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
- Work in conjunction with the various team members and stakeholders throughout the construction process
- Manage evaluation of costs and impact of revisions, change orders, etc.
- Maintain constructive relationships with subcontractors, clients, and site personnel
- Coordinate closely with high profile clients through all stages of assigned projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent degree
- 2+ years in Commercial Construction
- Ability to read blueprints and complete material takeoffs
- Understanding of building structure
- Proven project management experience, including the ability to handle multiple and concurrent projects.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 120k - 140k/year range
