Commercial Lines Account Manager – Independent Insurance Agency – Base Salary to 85k/year -Bohemia, NY
- Our client, a 30+ year independent insurance agency in the Bohemia, NY area has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. This close-knit agency provides a comprehensive range of personal, commercial, benefits, and life & health insurance.
Responsibilities:
- The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be an integral and key player in the growth of the team. This person will be responsible for servicing commercial accounts primarily contractors, manufacturers, fabricators, etc. The average account size is roughly $50,000. You will be responsible for certificates, ID cards, endorsements, proposals, policy changes, marketing, cross-selling/account rounding, referrals, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of Insurance experience as it pertains to commercial lines.
- Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed.
- EPIC experience preferred but can train.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 60k - 85k/year range depending on experience plus commission on new business & renewal. Christmas bonus as well.
- Benefits package includes voluntary health insurance, group life insurance, disability, PTO, paid holidays, summer hours, etc.
