Our client, a fifth generation, 100+ year, independent insurance agency in the Shrewsbury, PA area, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager. Since their inception, they have developed an excellent reputation for providing a client-focused solutions and customer service for very specific commercial insurance needs.

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be a key player to the team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will primarily be servicing the agency’s generalist book of business consisting of small and middle market accounts such as general liability, workers comp, farm, auto, business owners, builders risk. You will also manage some personal lines clients as well as complex farm accounts. The Account Manager will manage the renewal process, prepare and process certificates of insurance, proposals, remarketing, upsell and cross-sell current customers, prepare endorsements and invoices as needed, along with other assigned tasks.
- Our client offers a very close-knit culture with a work hard play hard mentality. Remote work schedule except for quarterly meetings and meetings with agents.
Qualifications:
- Current P&C (Property and Casualty) License required.
- Knowledge of Applied Epic is preferred.
- Experience working with Erie Insurance preferred.
- A designation consisting of CIC, CISR, CRM, ARM, or CPCU preferred.
- 3+ years commercial insurance experience in an independent agency setting.
- Personal lines experience is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of Commercial Package Policy, Commercial Auto, Commercial Liability, and Commercial Property insurance policy.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 34.00/hour plus commission on referrals as well as bonuses if you grow the book.
