Commercial Lines Account Manager – Independent Agency – Base Salary to 70k/year – Pineville, NC

  • Our client, a family-owned independent insurance agency in the Pineville, NC area, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team.
  • This agency is one of the top 20 largest independent agencies in the Charlotte area, and offers a supportive team culture, yearly bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be an integral and key player in the growth of the team.
  • You will be responsible for supporting a team of producers by servicing a book of commercial accounts.
  • You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to clients and maintaining existing relationships.
  • You will be responsible for answering billing and service questions, ordering and issuing renewals, certificates, policies, endorsements, etc.
  • Other responsibilities include reporting claims, maintaining accuracy of records, recommending additional coverages to clients, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Insurance experience as it pertains to commercial lines.
  • NC Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Experience with NowCerts agency management system a plus.

Compensation:

  • Base salary up to 70k/year depending on experience.
  • Full benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + 3% match, PTO and vacation days, etc.
  • Performance-based bonus distributed yearly.
  • Community atmosphere – quarterly company outings, monthly birthday celebrations, etc.
  • Position may open to hybrid work after the first 6 months.
