Commercial Foreman – Concrete Flooring – Base Salary to 40.00/hour – Westbrook, ME
- Our client is a fast-growing Portland area subcontractor that specializes in concrete flooring surface work for commercial and government clients. They pride themselves on exceptional quality and attention to detail, and handle concrete restoration, resinous coatings, heavy duty resurfacing, leveling, and staining and sealing. Currently looking to expand their team and bring on an industry-qualified Foreman.
- In this role, the Commercial Foreman is responsible for on-site quality control, training, and overseeing the crew as they perform concrete floor applications and treatments. Extensive experience in the concrete flooring restoration and coatings industry is critical to success in this role. Relocation available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee crews on site, anywhere from 4 – 8 Installers
- Facilitate training of crew members and continual skills development
- Travel to job sites throughout Portland area, as well as into neighboring states as needed
- Coordinate closely with Operations Manager and VP in the office, being able to confidently relay what needs to happen in the field
- Ensure appropriate materials are on site, handle staging and final cleanup and inspection
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in concrete flooring, restoration, and coatings
- In depth product knowledge, should be well versed working with Dur-A-Flex, Poly-Crete, Elite Crete, Tennant, etc.
- Contacts with large GCs is a plus
- Ability to work in the field throughout Portland and the surrounding region
- Ability to work 7am – 4pm normally, but occasionally nonstandard hours depending on specific project needs
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 30.00 – 40.00/hour range
