Commercial Delivery Driver - Construction Warehouse Maintenance - Base Salary to 75k/year - Cleveland, OH

• Our client is seeking a Commercial Delivery Driver for a dual-role position responsible for both the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of goods, as well as maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and basic functionality of the warehouse facility and grounds. This role requires a combination of driving skill, physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role is 60% driving and delivery in the local Cleveland area, and 40% warehouse/equipment maintenance
  

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles (Cargo Van with trailer) to transport products and materials to and from customer locations, vendors, and other company sites
  
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all assigned vehicles
  
• Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel receipts, and all required company paperwork
  
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment (e.G., forklift, pallet jack)
  
• Verify shipping documents and obtain customer signatures upon delivery
  
• Communicate proactively with the Warehouse staff re: delivery schedule status
  
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic and DOT regulations
  
• Perform general maintenance tasks and minor repairs around the warehouse and office (basic plumbing, electrical tasks (e.G., replacing light bulbs/fixtures, unclogging toilets), minor carpentry and drywall repair (e.G., patching walls, fixing shelving), painting, floor repair, and general upkeep of the facility interior)
  
• Maintain and organize the outdoor property and grounds (e.G., snow removal, light landscaping, trash removal)
  
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance checks on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, and company tools)
  
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and organized
  
• Assist with inventory management (cycle counts, receiving, stocking, prep orders)
  
• Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience (cargo van)
  
• 1+ year of general maintenance or home repair specialist experience
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of facility maintenance, hand tools, and equipment
  
• Able to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment (certification preferred or required upon hire)
  
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-75 pounds frequently
  
• Able to work in various weather conditions and environments (warehouse, outdoor yard, vehicle cab) & able to sit for extended periods while driving
  

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 45k - 75k/year range based on experience
