Commercial Construction Superintendent - Drywall and Metal Framing - Base Salary to 100k/year - North Kansas City, MO
- Our client is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a strong background in commercial drywall and metal framing to oversee and manage field operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coordinating teams, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining project schedules, along with proficiency in project management software such as Procore.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities for commercial drywall and metal framing projects.
- Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Lead and manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to schedules and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records using project management software (e.g., Procore).
- Conduct regular job site meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong focus on commercial drywall and metal framing.
- Proven track record of managing mid- to large-scale projects successfully.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Procore is required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques specific to drywall and metal framing.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 80k - 100k/year range
