Claims Administrator - Construction Company - Base Salary to 140k/year - Yonkers, NY
- Our client, a construction company, has an immediate need for a Claims Administrator. The Claims Administrator will be responsible for working on the intake and processing of all inbound claims related cases. The Claims Administrator will be responsible for the intake and processing of all assigned claims (general liability, auto, worker's compensation, property, disability, paid family leave, and other related claims.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for the Insurance Department in reporting all accidents
- Responsible for day-to-day contact with insurance companies and outside counsel for claims
- Assemble documents and information relating to claims litigation discovery in coordination with the Legal Department
- Coordinate responses to third-party subpoenas relating to claims and employment issues in coordination with the Legal Department
- As needed, assist the Legal Department with discovery responses and related matters for other types of claims
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in claims management experience.
- Experience in the construction industry is a huge plus.
- Ability to read and interpret insurance documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 140k/year.
- Ability to work onsite in Yonkers.
