Custom Fabricator - Millwork and Cabinetry - Base Salary to 32.00/hour - North Kansas City, MO

• Our client is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their millwork and cabinetry team in North Kansas City, MO. The Carpenter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry to meet exacting project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to produce high-quality millwork and cabinetry.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, including wood, laminate, and other materials, to create custom pieces.
• Install finished millwork and cabinetry at job sites, ensuring precise fit and alignment.
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery such as saws, routers, joiners, and sanders safely and efficiently.
• Conduct on-site adjustments and repairs as needed to ensure a flawless installation.
• Collaborate with team members, including fabricators, spray painters, and project managers, to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, or carpentry.
• Proven track record of producing high-quality work for commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency in using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with custom fabrication and installation.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 20.00 - 32.00/hour range
