CNC Programmer – Haas CNC Machines for Manufacturing – Base Salary to 150k/year – Newark, NJ
- Our client, an established HVAC Manufacturers Rep and manufacturing venture servicing the NJ/NYC market, creates innovative and custom HVAC solutions for some of the most prestigious skyscrapers in New York City.
- They are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer for their Newark, NJ manufacturing / assembly line location. Strong experience in CAD/CAM with specifically Haas Machine programming will be critical to success in this position. This is a Monday – Friday position, hours are 8am – 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain CAD/CAM programs for Haas CNC machines on the assembly line
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production efficiency and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs to improve productivity and reduce downtime
- Design and create fixtures, tooling, and work holding devices as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of CNC machines and related equipment
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and continuously improve skills
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in CAD/CAM programming and CNC machining, specifically with Haas CNC machines
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor)
- Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, including tooling, cutting, and feeds and speeds
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 150k/year
