CAD Drafter – Architecture – Base Salary to 65k/year – York, PA
- Our client is a local architecture firm specializing in parks that has been in business for over 20 years. Due to growth, they are looking to add an additional CAD Drafter to the team. They put a strong focus on community spaces for public recreation, creating unique and cost-effective solutions that cater to each client's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed plans, layouts, and drawings for various landscape architecture elements such as planting design, hardscapes, grading, drainage, irrigation systems, lighting, and more.
- Develop schematic designs into construction documents, including site plans, elevation drawings, sections, and details.
- Work closely with landscape architects and designers to understand project goals and design intent.
- Communicate effectively to ensure accurate representation of design ideas in the CAD drawings.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD to create and edit drawings.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency in CAD tools to efficiently produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Ensure that drawings adhere to industry standards and local regulations.
- Pay attention to detail to accurately represent dimensions, materials, and design specifications.
- Organize and manage drawings and files to maintain an organized project documentation system.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in developing comprehensive construction documents and specifications.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, and MS Office
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, contributing to collective success.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 65k/year
- PTO/Vacation
