Business Development Manager - Recycling - Base Salary to 100k/year - Philadelphia, PA
- Our client, a leader in collaborating with clients to develop programs that help them become more environmentally responsible, is seeking a Business Development Manager to help them expand their business throughout the region.
- In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing the company's recycling, sustainability, commodities and de-packaging services.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, Lead, Organize & Execute on New Opportunities in a timely & effective manner
- Be the SME & focus new Business Development Activities to feed the Waste & Commodity Services business lines
- Provide Account Management leadership for the Commodity Resources Business Lines
- Grow relationships with current customers and partners
- Secure new agreements for multi-year business
- Conduct onsite waste audits to fully analyze, evaluate & fine tune program approach
- Provide continuous subject matter expert guidance related to commodity market value trends, their impact on current and future planning and how that might need to be addressed in existing client Agreements and future prospective client proposal
- Research prospects & propose solutions for client's waste & recycling needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Marketing or Environmental Science
- 10+ years of Sales Experience, Preferably in Recycling or Waste
- Thorough knowledge & understanding of commodity services, value trends, direct customer & brokerage
- Prove Sales & Negotiation Skills
- Account Management Experience
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 100k/year, plus variable commission opportunity. Client offers health benefits + 401k with a company match.
