Building Engineer – Commercial Building in Downtown Cleveland – Base Salary to 52k/year – Cleveland, OH

  • Our client is hiring with a commercial building in Downtown Cleveland that is a high rise. They are looking at bringing on a Building Engineer that will help handle preventative maintenance, repairs, some contractors, remodeling, new construction and all other assignments as needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Requires proficient knowledge of building systems electricity, HVAC, equipment repair and general building maintenance.
  • Perform repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds and equipment including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
  • Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting locks and doors.
  • Responsible for completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
  • Complete make-ready process of vacant spaces
  • Schedule and compete “Preventative Maintenance Program.”
  • Monitor and maintain building systems.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of maintenance/facilities experience, preferred commercial buildings experience
  • Working with basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical as needed
  • Very reliable, organized and ready to jump in and help when needed throughout campus

Compensation:

  • Base salary to 52k/year
  • Fully comprehensive medical benefits plans
  • Paid Holidays
