Branch Manager – Industrial Manufacturing – Base Salary to 85k/year – Thornburg, PA

Their expertise and products are used to keep a wide spectrum of key industries operating such as agriculture, food and beverage, lumber, metals and steel.
  • In this role, the Branch Manager will employ the skillset necessary to manage all aspects of running an efficient sales team including their productivity, ability to open new accounts, and sell more products to existing accounts. The Branch Manager will be responsible for achieving sales objectives associated with the assigned region, segment, and sales team managed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results.
  • Coordinates with Director of Sales, the involvement of sales support personnel, including customer support, service and management resources, so that team performance objectives and customers' expectations are met.
  • Develops, maintains, and ensures consistent implementation of the branch initiatives in conjunction with the Director of Sales and support from Marketing.
  • Proactively inspects sales activity and effort amongst assigned sales team, ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort and results meet company objectives and provides periodic updates to management. Ensures all company tools such as ERP & CRP software are fully utilized. Regularly discusses each person’s accountability & results.
  • Regularly reviews the performance of assigned sales team members by ensuring the proper use of sales techniques, including account and territory planning methodologies and customer communication techniques. Actively makes joint calls with sales team and provides constructive feedback.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with assigned sales team. Provides a management-level point of contact for key customers. Builds and maintains strong customer relationship.
  • Builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree from accredited institution or related experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Experience with wholesale distribution is preferred
  • Proven success coaching and developing sales teams
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office

Compensation:

  • Base salary up to 85k/year plus commission and bonuses
  • 2k signing bonus
