Bookkeeper – Private Homebuilder - Base Salary to 80k/year – Rockville, MD

  • Our client, a strong and stable regional home builder located in the Rockville, MD area that has an immediate need for a skilled Bookkeeper that will also work on the HR side of the business.  This position demands someone with strong accounts and QuickBooks experience that is excellent at working with customers.  Position works in office, no remote option.


  • Payroll via ADP, Monthly account balances and end of month reconciliations, various taxes, vendor payments and insurance records through QuickBooks, working with HR duties such as onboarding new hires, updating PTO and informing company of benefits changes.
  • Various types of project management duties such as coordinating with lender per closing and customer EMD administration

Qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.  Strong PC skills including advanced Microsoft Excel, computerized general ledger systems and software accounting systems.  Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business or relatable field. 

Compensation will include a base salary in the 60k – 80k/year range, depending on experience as well as an excellent benefits package.
