Bookkeeper – HVAC and Refrigeration – Base Salary to 50k/year – Winston Salem, NC
- Our client, a family owned, reputable, full service commercial and residential refrigeration and HVAC company specializes in service, installation, and preventative maintenance.
- They are looking to hire a Bookkeeper who will assist with the company’s financial planning and budget management functions. This position has the potential to eventually grow into a controller position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial planning, budget management, and forecasting.
- Support month-end closing, including account reconciliation and analysis.
- Handle all aspects of accounting, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Aid in overseeing daily finance department operations.
- Prepare official annual reports and financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis for contract negotiations and investments.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary reporting requirements.
- Collaborate on developing five- and ten-year business plans.
- Assist in setting departmental goals and operational procedures.
- Support financial audits and strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in HVAC/Refrigeration, Electrical, or Plumbing industry
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projects.
- Experience with Service Titan
Compensation
- Base salary up to 50k/year, plus bonuses
