BIM Coordinator – Construction - Base Salary to 65k/year CAD – Kitchener, ON

- They are looking to bring on a BIM Coordinator who will support the BIM Manager to initiate innovative solutions that will increase efficiency in design and production. In this role, you will employ your knowledge of custom parametric families, output BOMs, and robotic/CNC controls to work alongside architects and engineers in residential design.
Responsibilities:
- Support design processes and modeling in Revit/BIM360
- Set up templates, BIM contracts and standards for use by all disciplines
- Coordinate BIM processes for shop drawing from permit drawings
- Help to create, maintain and change ASMEP models throughout project
- Creation of parametric families and processes
- Set model standards for LOD 300/350/400
- Liaison with Design team, Contractors and Fabricators
- Develop processes for interdisciplinary coordination
- Coordinate BOM output with SAP financial software and CNC equipment
- Assist/instruct designers in Revit and suggest continued learning
- Manage and track software licensing
Qualifications:
- 3+ years working with Revit in an Architecture or Engineering firm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering (Prof. or Tech.)
- Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit
- Liaison with Client, Design team, Contractors and Fabricators
- Thorough understanding of construction documents in ASMEP
- Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo and Navisworks; Solidworks an asset
- Clash review, Parametrics, custom Families, BOM to SAP, VR/AR
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 65k/year CAD plus bonus
