Associate Director of Loss Control - Insurance - Base Salary to 150k/year - Westbury, NY

• Our client, a 80+ year insurance brokerage on long island provides risk management and employee benefit services along with commercial and personal insurance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Reading & interpreting loss runs, identifying accident trends & loss leaders, develop and deliver to their client’s various safety and loss control programs that will help the client reduce/minimize the frequency and severity of claims.
• Conduct property and facility evaluations, and design/implement risk mitigation programs for clients.
• Consult with clients to understand needs and objectives.
• Develop custom solutions and advise clients on best practices in risk control strategies.
• Implement programs using general accepted project management and consulting practices.
• Conduct management and employee training sessions for clients as needed.
• Perform audits/assessments at client sites as needed.
• Your territory will be the tri-state area. There may be times that you may need to fly to another state to visit a client. Most of their clients are in the construction, real estate, and manufacturing fields.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 7+ years in Risk Control
• Familiarity and certification of the NYS Code Rule 59 / 60 regulations.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 140k - 150k/year range, plus company performance bonus.
• Gas mileage & toll reimbursement for travel.
• Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k + match, PTO, paid holidays, etc.
• In office 3 days, 2 days remote. Some flexibility depending on experience.
