Assistant Property Manager - Property Management Company - Base Salary to 70k/year - New York, NY
- Our client, a boutique property management company that is an owner/operator of their properties is looking to add an Assistant Property Manager to their team. The Assistant Property Manager will work directly for the Property Manager in helping with their tenants. The buildings range from 35-40 units to smaller 2-6 unit buildings scattered across Manhattan and a few other boroughs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage resident retention and relations; investigate and resolve resident complaints
- Create and circulate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual resident correspondence
- Shop competition regularly and have knowledge of their pricing, policies, lease terms, etc
- Answering and directing incoming calls.
- Opening and distributing incoming mail.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and customer events.
- Conducting site visits to check and stock clerical supplies, etc.
Qualifications:
- A friendly people-oriented approach and the ability to interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Resourcefulness and the ability to achieve goals independently.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 50k - 70k/year range
