Area Sales Representative - Building Materials - Base Salary to 85k/year - St. Louis, MO

- They are seeking an Area Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector. This role offers a mix of business development, relationship management, and technical sales.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within an assigned geographic territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to project completion
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend tailored construction solutions
- Track sales activity, revenue forecasts, and customer interactions in CRM
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities
- Travel within the territory (up to 50%) to meet with clients and oversee project needs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in construction materials, equipment rental, or related industries
- Strong understanding of scaffolding, concrete formwork, and construction project lifecycles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems for sales tracking and reporting
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 85k/year plus commission
- Full benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision ins.
