Applications Engineer - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 110k/year - Lancaster, PA
- Our client, with over 100 years of design, manufacturing and selling of custom solutions for power transmission, motion transfer and conveying applications is seeking an Applications Engineer for their Lancaster, PA location.
- The Applications Engineer will manage all technical aspects of customer accounts, lead product development to meet customer needs, and enhance organization knowledge in current products and market applications. This role will require 10-20% travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support to sales teams, distributors, and customers.
- Travel globally to key customers to deliver solutions, participate in design discussions, conduct technical seminars, and resolve issues.
- Serve as a technical resource for Product Management, offering product information, market/customer data, and support for daily functions.
- Conduct engineering tests and experiments as needed.
- Adhere to ISO procedures for product development and customer-related processes.
- Partner with the sales force to ensure customer satisfaction and build relationships with key and potential customers.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering to ensure the processability and manufacturability of new products.
- Offer technical expertise in evaluating new raw materials and component suppliers.
- Develop new test equipment and procedures to validate product performance.
- Actively participate in business team meetings.
- Create and deliver technical training on products and applications.
- Oversee and manage all ADS and Applications-related customer feedback to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in applying engineering techniques for complex problem-solving and mechanical design.
- Skilled in addressing practical issues and interpreting various instructions.
- Effective communicator with experience in project management and meeting deadlines.
- Experienced in analyzing technical documents and creating reports.
- Competent in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and modeling.
Compensation:
- Base salary to 110k/year
