Account Representative - Building Products Distributor - Base Salary to 65k/year - Denver, CO
  • Our client, a leading international building supply manufacturer, is looking for a candidate with an interest in an Account Representative role. The company is looking for someone with an interest in growing their career and working with existing customers in sales support and resolving their distribution needs. This is not a cold calling role, rather managing client relationships, handling inquiries, orders, providing product information, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales with current and prospective account base, through developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Field customer calls, quote price to customers & coordinate with onsite production department to facilitate movement of sale through production
  • Collaborate within cross functional teams; act as a liaison between operations and customers to manage expectations on delivery schedules and order fulfillment
  • Maintain and keep current detailed records, reports, and customer data
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in some sort of sales/customer service position
  • Proficient with web-based computer services, specifically SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
  • Interest in being promoted down the road either into Outside or Inside Sales (would require relocation package & pay increase)
  • Background in Distribution, Interior Design, Construction, or Building Products would be a large plus
Compensation:
  • Base salary up to 65k/year
