Account Manager - Non-Destructive Testing Services - Base Salary to 135k/year - Houston, TX

  • Founded 20+ years ago, our client in the Non-Destructive Testing Services space specializes in Industrial Radiography services for the Construction and oil and gas markets.
  • They are currently looking to hire an Account Manager to join their team. This position will focus on selling radiography services for land-laid pipelines. While this is a remote position, candidates must reside in either the Houston, Odessa, or New Mexico areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit construction job-sites calling on General Contractors to bid for work
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure sales targets are met
  • Travel to conferences, tradeshows, and networking events
  • Travel throughout the North East territory to visit potential customers (25% overnight travel)
  • Provide outstanding customer service and resolve any customer issues

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience selling Non-Destructive Testing Services for land-laid pipelines (will not consider people selling products)
  • Experience calling on General Contractors and familiar with the bidding process
  • Reside around Houston, TX, Odessa, TX or New Mexico
  • Understanding of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 90k – 135k/year range plus bonus
  • Medical, Dental, 401k (match), company car, fuel card, cell phone reimbursement
