Account Executive – Award Winning Executive Search Firm – Base Salary to 65k/year – Baltimore, MD

  • AllSearch Recruiting, a 21-year-old Professional Search Firm headquartered Downtown York, PA, is seeking an Account Executive (internally titled Key Account Manager) to engage with our current and previous customers in order to maintain relationships, gain new business, ensure outstanding service delivery and foster long-term partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Account Executive will be primarily responsible for maintaining and rekindling relationships with current and dormant clients. The Account Executive will have the choice of the position being 100% work from home, hybrid or office based at our York, PA headquarters as best suits their lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with a minimum of 20 accounts per day via phone and follow up via email and other communication channels to maintain contact, discover new needs and promote AllSearch Recruiting’s services.
  • Coordinate meetings between customers and Recruiting Practice Managers to discuss specific needs.
  • Promote additional lines of business, leveraging existing agreements, and identify opportunities for deeper account penetration by establishing connections with new contacts within current and previous customer organizations.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to devise and implement strategic plans for customer retention and growth.
  • Regularly provide reports on customer engagement, feedback, and emerging trends to contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B account management, customer service or inside sales, with a proven track record of successfully fostering relationships to drive business growth. Experience within Construction, Industrial/Manufacturing, P&C Insurance sectors is a plus.
  • Experience in the staffing and recruiting industry is required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on persuasive and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, an innovative mindset, and the ability to independently prioritize tasks.
  • Comfort with engaging in outbound calls and conducting surveys to gather customer insights.

Compensation:

  • The base salary for this position is in the 55k – 65k/year range, with additional quarterly performance-based bonuses.

Golf, fishing, geocaching, new culinary experiences and dogs.

What is the biggest mistake companies make?

Not being open to a conversation and allowing sales positions to remain open for extended periods of time. It is not only the loss of revenue from a given territory or market. The cost of losing ground to competitors and having to rebuild a presence is incalculable. These costs are often fractions of our fees.

What’s the biggest compliment a client or candidate ever paid you?

A sales manager once conducted his weekly sales meeting based on his experiences with me and my approach in earning his business. It was quite humbling.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

At various points (in no particular order) I wanted to be an astronaut, a Ghostbuster, a CIA agent, a physicist and Indiana Jones. I am still kind of holding out on being Indiana Jones.

What are the first three things you do when you wake up?

1) Have a concoction of water/apple cider vinegar/secret mystery powders. 2) Feeling invigorated, I proceed to shower. 3) Clean and full of moxie, I take 3 minutes to decide which pair of colorful dress socks will make my day extra special.

What do you typically eat for breakfast?

Yogurt, I am big on the yogurt.
