Account Associate - Independently Owned Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 65k - Nyack, NY
- Our client a 20-year-old Independently owned Insurance Agency has an immediate need for an experienced Account Associate to join their growing team. This agency offers an in-office environment with a focus on the importance of work-life balance. The Account Associate will be responsible for working with both a Personal Line and a Life and Health client base.
Responsibilities:
- Providing account management for personal line and a life & health book of business.
- Responding to inquiries on insurance availability, eligibility, and coverage.
- Performing policy updates, changes, transfers, and providing certificates of insurance.
- New policy sales and completion of policy renewals. Rounding when possible.
- Oversee office in absence of Agency Owner.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales experience preferably with Personal Lines and Life & Health Insurance products.
- Current Life & Health License.
- Active Property & Casualty License.
- Decision making ability to run office in absence of
- Ability to work in-office.
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 65k/year plus commission opportunities.
