Construction Project Manager – Multi-Family – Base Salary to 160k/year – Houston, TX
- Our client has been in business for 15 years and has experience exponential growth in the multi-family and government sector. They are family owned and operated and focus on building strong relationships with their clients, vendors and employees. They are currently in need of a Construction Project Manager in the Houston, TX area who will join an existing field team to complete projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor project team members (APMs, field engineers and project coordinators).
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Key Point of contact for clients, designers, subcontractors, and
- Conflict resolution experience to achieve positive
- Detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope and
- Ensure pay applications, document compliance and all other requirements are met for cash flow
- Manage project controls, schedule updates, project documentation, weekly/monthly reports, submittal approval process, RFI process, project documentation management, pay applications punch list & project
- Deliver timely project buyout in collaboration with pre-construction
- Manage scope of work development and subcontract execution process in coordination with compliance team. Ensure Procore is being utilized and managed for all project aspects.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of multi-family/commercial construction
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in construction management, engineering, or related
- Experience with wood framed construction
- Previous start to finish experience with multi-family product types; (for example: wrap, podium, garden) with values in excess of $25M.
- Previous leadership of day-to-day project responsibilities, develop and maintain schedule, submittals, RFIs and overall project success.

Compensation:
- Base salary up to 160k/year + bonus depending on experience

What did you want to be when you grew up?
From the time I was a baby, I always had this tiny pink basketball in my hand and a smile on my face. When I started to grow out of that tiny pink ball, I upgraded to an actual basketball and I dribbled it every day to elementary school with that same smile on my face. So obviously, my dream was to be a WNBA player! Unfortunately, I wasn’t THAT good. I played in college and had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level which ended up being an even bigger dream come true. I learned my true passion was for people and helping them reach their goals, which essentially lead me to this career in recruiting. Now, I don’t dribble my ball to work every day, but I do come to work with a SMILE every day!
