Production Supervisor – Chemical & Resin Manufacturing – Base Salary to 70k/year – West Chester, PA
- Our client is a global producer of chemical technologies, compounds, and specialty materials. They are looking to add a Production Supervisor to their 3rd shift team. This Production Supervisor will not only contribute to the growth of the manufacturing department, but also help to sustain and achieve safety, quality, and productivity in the workplace. The Production Supervisor will be the main point of contact on night shift for all issues relating to production and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and efficient workplace by troubleshooting problems, reaching metrics, and promoting a continuous improvement environment
- Manage daily production activity to meet objectives, yield improvement, and productivity
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvement
- Schedule shift assignment for succeeding shift
- Conduct incident investigations and support safety improvement metrics
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher is preferred
- Minimum 3+ years overseeing production workers in an industrial manufacturing facility
- Plus for chemical processing or extrusion background
- Plus for previous experience managing union employees
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to troubleshoot issues
- Servant leadership and overall great communicator
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Ability to cover other shifts and/or weekends as needed
Compensation:
- Our client is offering a base salary up to 70k/year along with a standard benefits package.

About Me:
I was born and raised in York, Pa. I completed my freshman year of college at Towson University. I soon realized Astronomy was not my thing, so I transferred back home to York College to pursue a career in Business. I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. I chose AllSearch because it felt like home. What I do in my free time?
My dad and I brew beer! My dream one day is to open up a brewery with him. If I’m not doing that, I am either reading about conspiracy theories, spending money at Target, or playing with my dog—those are really my only hobbies.
Piece of advice I would give myself?
Always remember money can’t buy happiness; but it can buy you a boat, which would probably make you a little happy. Piece of advice number two: it’s the little things in life that make it worth wild.
What I typically eat for breakfast?
Cereal. There is no argument there here, Frosted Flakes are the best.
