Project Engineer – Hotel Developer – Base Salary to 100k/year – Anaheim, CA
- Our client is a vertically integrated hotel development company. They handle acquisition, financing, entitlement, design, construction, and asset management of hotels, mostly in the Anaheim area. Since 2002 they have been designing and developing creative and unique hotel projects that have earned them numerous awards.
- The Project Engineer is a crucial player in their construction operations. Our client is in need of a Project Engineer with hotel or large multifamily construction experience as a PE, Field Engineer, or APM. The Project Engineer will be responsible for various tasks that will assist Project Managers and Superintendent in meeting project goals. Looking for people who are a good culture fit in a positive, hardworking environment with room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and other stakeholders as needed
- Aid in preconstruction, prepare material takeoffs
- Update and maintain drawings, specifications, and logs
- Upload documentation into Procore
- Attend pre-planning and conceptual meetings
- Assist in project scheduling, relay to vendors and Subcontractors
- Compile closeout documents
- Oversee submittals
- Walk job sites on a routine basis to confirm/document that field is organized and proceeding according to project plans and specs
Qualifications:
- Project Engineer type experience on hotel or large multifamily projects required
- Must understand construction documentation policies and procedures
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contract documents, and budget/cost documents
- Must have professional communication and coordination skills
- Must have computer skills in MS Office/Excel and construction management software (Procore preferred)
- Must be able to work in-office in Orange, and on site for various projects, mostly in the Anaheim area
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 85k - 100k/year range, dependent on experience
- Annual and discretionary bonuses
