Territory Sales Representative – National Logistics Solutions Provider - Base To $60k + Commission
- Our client, a national logistics provider in business for more than 50 years, has an immediate need for a Territory Sales Rep to handle a region that will cover the New York and New Jersey market. In this role, the Territory Sales Rep will sell logistics solutions to companies of all sizes within their assigned region.
- The goal of the Territory Sales Rep will be focus on new business development. As such, this role will begin with hunting for new business and then transition to account management. The TSR will work directly with clients, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities. You will be on the front lines of our business, promoting and selling the company’s services and gathering valuable market intelligence. This is a key role with a growing regional company, helping to expand this key service line.
- The Territory Sales Rep will work to find their own leads, work the industry networking groups, attend trade shows and more. The company has a fantastic name in the industry. There is a lot of opportunity to grow and develop in this role while earning an excellent income. They also have a fantastic training program. Industry experience is not required in this role, just a strong business to business sales background.
Compensation includes a strong base salary of $60k, plus a strong commission package that should add another $15k-$20k in annual commissions. On top of this, the company provides a cell phone, laptop, a monthly car allowance as well as a monthly gas allowance. Vision, Dental, Medical, 401K, LTD, STD, and additional benefits.
Requirements for this position include 1-5 years of successful business to business sales experience. The ideal candidate will be a sales professional that has a strong hunter mentality. A Bachelors Degree is preferred.
