Territory Sales Representative - Development Trainee Role - International Building Product Manufacturer - Comp to $60k, Benefits, High Growth Role

Our client, a worldwide building product manufacturer and distributor, with a major hub location just outside of Atlanta in Lawrenceville, GA, is looking for a strong candidate to enter in to their company’s exclusive Territory Sales Trainee Program.

  • This is a strong long-term career opportunity to grow into a Territory Sales role, that will start with an amazing training program. This is role is open due to a previous trainee being promoted into a full Territory Sales role within 6 months of starting in the Trainee program.  The company is a fantastic privately-owned company that is very much of a leader in their field. They have an excellent reputation as a great place to work and to grow a sales and management based career. They have very low turnover.  The company has locations all throughout the United States, and they are continuing to grow. The company has been in business for over 50 years.  The company is very much focused on growing and promoting from within.  If you are a competitive person and desire to grow into a Territory Sales career where the income potential is uncapped, this is the company for you.

  • In the Territory Sales Trainee role, you will be groomed to be promoted into a more advanced Territory Sales position with this company within 6-18 months. As this is a sales focused training program, you will start in a sales and account management role, being mentored directly by the sales leadership team.  As a member of this training program, you will learn all about their business and their sales process, and will be working directly with everyone from the Inside Sales Management to Regional Sales Managers to their VP of Sales.  You will learn about their customers and what they do. You will learn how they manage their clients, how they sell their products, and how they do just about everything in the branch. As this is a hands-on training program, you will be involved in day to day account management and inside sales tasks, as well as projects as assigned by the Manager.  This is strictly business to business sales.  As they are a manufacturer, their products are sold to small and large retailers and lumber yards such as Home Depot stores, 84 Lumber and more.

Compensation for this position includes a starting base salary in the $40k range, plus a solid bonus and incentive plan that should put your 1st year annual income in the $50k-$60k range if you are performing to expectation.  In addition, the benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Drug insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with a company match and more.

Requirements for this position are a Bachelors Degree.  No professional experience required.
