Territory Sales Rep - Rapidly Growing Metalworking Manufacturer - Base to $50k, Total Comp, $75k

  • Our client, a growing and expanding manufacturer of industrial abrasive products, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Manager for their team.  In this role, the person will be based in either Indianapolis, IN or Dayton, OH area and handle a sales territory that will include Indiana and Ohio.
  • As a Territory Sales Manager with this company, you will work to prospect and grow new business in this large multi-state territory that will include Indiana and Ohio.  In addition, you will take over an existing base of business and work to grow deeper relationships with this customer base.  The customer base will include everything from large Fortune 500 based companies down to small companies and start-ups.  You will be selling at both the end user and distributor levels.  Not only will you be directly selling, but you will participate in networking and trade shows as well.  You will be asked to educate customers as well through various meetings and product demonstrations.  Additionally, the company will provide excellent training along with all the tools and support that you will need to be a success in this role.

Compensation:  Base salary around $50k with a lucrative commission package that can take you into the $65k-$75k range.  On top of this will be a car allowance, cell phone, laptop and an industry leading set of employment benefits and incentives.

Requirements: The ideal background will include at least 2 years of industrial sales experience in a hunting-based role, strongly preferred would be experience in the abrasives or metalworking industry.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred, but not required.  The ability to travel throughout the region is a must.
