Territory Sales Rep - Mechanical / Industrial Product & Service - Base to $70k + Commission, Car, Benefits
- Our client, a well-established regional provider of mechanical system equipment and services, has an immediate need for an accomplished Territory Sales Rep to develop a new territory in the Richmond, VA region.
- Our client has been doing business in the MidAtlantic for nearly 100 years and has a stellar reputation in their industry. They are a family owned organization and service a variety of industries, including; Commercial, Industrial, Power Generation, Institutional, Government, Military, and more.
- In this role, the Rep will be responsible for establishing new business and maximizing sales and profitability by hunting for new business. While this role is focused at adding new business and building a book of business, this is very much of a consultative, relationship building sales approach. As this is a solutions based sale, the Rep will help perform needs analysis and demonstrate products that meet the client’s need. This role will sell both industrial products and service based contracts. With support from the sales support team, the Rep will be involved in developing proposals and quotations. They will help to build and grow the sales data within the company’s CRM system.
Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $55k-$70k range. On top of that base salary will include a strong commission plan and comprehensive benefits package. In addition, a car allowance, cell phone and laptop will be provided. This can be a very lucrative role taking you well over the $100k annual income level as you have success and grow your customer base.
Requirements for this position include at least 3 years of successful business to business sales experience in an industrial field. Candidate must have a strong mechanical aptitude, and understand mechanical products. A Bachelors Degree is preferred, though not required.
