Territory Sales Rep - Mechanical Equipment Manufacturer - Denver Region - Base $65k+

Our client, a growing mechanical equipment manufacturer and distributor, has an immediate need for a skilled Outside Sales Rep in the Colorado market.  This person will ideally be based in Denver, and cover a larger regional from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.

In terms of this company, this is not your typical “corporate America” organization.  Our client is a western based, privately owned company.  They offer an incredible work environment that is big on work life balance and a strong family culture.  While not huge, the company is strong and stable, produce a very high quality product, and is growing at a very strong pace.  There will be a lot of opportunity for success and career development within their Sales Team.  If you aspire to produce great sales results, play a key part in helping a strong company grow, and be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, this could be a fantastic position for you and your career.

In this role, you will sell a line of mechanical equipment to companies in construction, manufacturing and the oil, gas and power industry.  The Outside Sales Rep will sell to a customer base in Denver, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins.  The ideal home location for this Rep will be Denver, as the company has a physical branch location in that market.  At the same time, they can be flexible to base this Rep in Colorado Springs or Fort Collins.  The role will involve both account management and hunting for new business.  As this is an existing territory, the Rep will take over an existing base of customers.  This person will report to the Director of Sales.

Compensation will be a base salary around $65k, with a completely uncapped commission package.  Between the base and commission, you will earn in the $75k-$85k range in the first year.  On top of this, the offer will include a company car, cell phone and laptop along with a comprehensive benefits package that will include health, vision, employer paid dental and life insurance, paid time off and more.

Background:  Bachelors Degree along with 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the construction, industrial or manufacturing markets.  Candidate should have a solid mechanical aptitude.
