Territory Sales Rep - Junior to Trainee Level - Business to Business - Well Established Jamestown, NY Company.  Base + Comm, 1st Year $60k-$70k.

  • Our client, a strong regional commercial services company headquartered in the upstate New York region, has an immediate need for a Junior Level Business to Business Sales Professional for a Territory Sales Rep position in their Jamestown, NY territory.  This is a fantastic position for someone new to business to business sales, that wants to learn the industry and be trained for success.  The company is an industry leader in the market, being in business for over 50 years.
  • The incoming Sales Associate will be able to learn and develop under the long time Sales Manager who has been with the company for many years. In this role, the Rep will be trained and developed to help build the company's revenues by selling their business services to potential businesses all over the region. This would include small and large businesses, with a strong focus in the industrial business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers.  Thus, the person in this role needs to have no fear of talking to people, pushing for new business and competing for success.
  • This company is not the typical stuffy corporate environment. This is a smaller, private, locally headquartered company with around 150 total employees. However, they are extremely stable as they have been in business and serving the business market in upstate New York for over 50 years.  You are not just one of hundreds of sales reps on a team. Instead, you will be a key player on a strong and well supported sales team. Thus, you should be a person that would prefer to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

Compensation for this position includes a solid starting base salary plus excellent commission package.  As you start to have success out in the field, and learn the business, total annual compensation in this role could put you in the $60k-$70k range.

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree, a competitive and aggressive personality, and a desire to grow a career in outside sales. Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. A history in anything competitive such as college athletics is a plus.
