  • Our client, a strong and well established business service based business serving the Newark, NJ and surrounding market, has an immediate need for a skilled Sales Professional to join their team. This territory will include Newark, Clifton and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established sales professional looking for a solid outside business to business sales career with a great company. The incoming Sales Rep will be able to learn the industry and develop by working directly with the long time Sales Manager who has been with the company for many years.
  • In this role, the Sales Rep will be trained and developed to help build the company’s revenues by selling their business services to potential businesses all over the region. This would include small and large businesses, with a strong focus in the industrial business sector. This position focuses on new business sales as there is a heavy focus on new business generation and hunting for new customers. The successful candidate will work closely with and answer directly to the company’s Sales Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies.
  • As far as growth, you will have the opportunity to grow in both responsibility and income significantly as you have success on the team. This company is not the typical stuffy corporate environment. This is a smaller, private, locally headquartered company. However, they are extremely stable as they have been in business and serving the business market in Northern NJ for over 50 years. You are not just one of hundreds of sales reps on a team. Instead, you will be a key player on a strong and well supported sales team.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary in the $52k-$60k range plus a strong commission package.  Regarding the commission, a good performing Sales Rep for the company will usually earn commission fairly quickly, and can expect to be in the $65k-$75k range in the first year. Top achievers can certainly get in to the $90k+ range within a couple of years. The company also offers an excellent benefits package, a strong car allowance, gas card, cell phone, laptop, medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation and more.

Requirements include a Bachelors Degree, a competitive and aggressive personality, and a desire to grow a career in outside sales. A candidate should have between 2-5 years of success sales experience, ideally in a hunting based sales role.
