Territory Sales Rep - Industrial Component Products - Best Company to Work For - Base to $80k + Commission, Benefits
- Our client, a strong and stable distributor of fasteners and other small industrial component parts, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Rep to handle a territory that will include Georgia, Alabama and the Carolinas. This is a remote based position, but ideally the candidate will live in the Atlanta area.
- This is a fantastic company that has successfully been partnering with manufacturers all over the country for over 40 years. They have experienced impressive growth over the past decade, winning multiple awards including been names multiple times as a best place to work. More than just a product provider, our client is a team of engineering and product experts, who are able to solve challenges and their customers money at the same time. This position is actually open due to expansion and growth in this particular region.
- In this Territory Sales role, you will be responsible for taking over and growing existing customer relationships as well as going after brand new business. This will be done via a steady mix of networking, warm calls and cold calls. Should be able to navigate a longer sales cycle, typically 3-12 months prior to the sale. Travel through the territory is a must, which will result in an occasional overnight stay.
Compensation in this role includes a base salary in the $60k-$80k range, along with a strong commission package. They also offer a strong monthly car allowance, cell phone, laptop, full healthcare insurance, vision, 401k, generous time off and much more.
Requirements in this position include at least 2 years of successful industrial sales experience. The ideal candidate will also have experience selling to the OEM market. A Bachelors Degree or solid mechanical technical aptitude is preferred.
