Territory Sales Manager - Heavy Construction Equipment - Growing Regional Dealer in Buffalo, NY - To $100k

  • Our client, a strong and growing heavy construction equipment dealer in Upstate New York, has an immediate need for a skilled Territory Sales Representative (internally titled "Territory Manager") to handle their existing territory in Buffalo, NY.  This company has been in business for almost 20 years and has grown a strong $2.5 million-dollar territory in Buffalo.  That said, the new Territory Manager will take over the existing base of business and continue to grow it from there.
  • In this role, the Territory Manager will work to maintain relationship with the customer base and grow new relationships as well.  As a dealer of heavy equipment including heavy duty trucks, engines and other large construction equipment, the client base will be focused on the construction market in and around Buffalo, NY.  The Territory Manager will be closing deals by both selling the equipment as well as selling equipment rental deals.  The TM will also serve as a product expert and assist the customer with product info and rate quotes. 
  • This will be a remote based position, working from a home office.  The company also has several branch locations in Upstate New York to support the Territory Manager.

Compensation in this role will include a strong base salary plus guaranteed commission plan.  Depending on experience, this package will start in the first year between $70k-$100k.  As you grow, some of the top TM’s in the company are earning as high as $140k annually.  In addition, the company will provide a car allowance, cell phone, laptop, medical benefits, paid time off and more.

Required for this position is at least 2 years of successful sales experience selling in to the construction market.  A Bachelors Degree is preferred, though not required.  Specific heavy construction equipment experience is a plus, though not required.
