Territory Sales Manager - Waterworks Industry - Southeast Region - Base to $80K, Commission, Car Allowance, Benefits
- Our client, a stable and growing national manufacturer of iron products for the waterworks industry, has an immediate need for an experienced Territory Manager for their SoCal area. The Southern California territory will include California and reach into Southwestern, AZ.
- In this role, the Territory Manager will take over a well performing territory and continue to maintain and grow those existing accounts. The person for this role will train directly under the Division Manager learning to build relationships with current clients and seek opportunities to grow within the distributor client base. This will create a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to all the key accounts, and to be set up for long term success in this position. A majority of this position will be account management and serving your clients as a technical resource to be able to stay connected during the entire sales process. There will be some new business hunting as well within this role.
- The territory will require a bit of travel however, with a remote-based office, there will be the autonomy to create a schedule to best serve the client base while meeting sales quotas.
Compensation in this position will include a starting base salary in the $70-80k range along with a commission structure as well. The package will also include excellent benefits, car allowance, travel and business expenses and more.
Requirements for this position include at least 5 years of successful specific sales experience, selling either valve fittings, joint restraints, and/or iron piping within the waterworks industry. A Bachelors Degree is preferred but will consider working experience in lieu of a degree. Candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed for business.
