Technical Sales Rep - Power Generation Market - Southwest Region - Comp to $70k, Base, Commission, Car, Benefits.  Las Vegas, NV.

  • Our client, a growing international company that sells an industrial product and service to the industrial turbine market, has an immediate need for a skilled Technical Sales Rep for their Southwest Region.  The Southwest territory will include California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.
  • In this role, the Technical Sales Rep will take over a well performing territory, and continue to maintain and grow those existing accounts.  The person in this role now is being promoted to a larger role, so the new Rep will learn and train from this outgoing Rep.  This will create a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to all the key accounts, and to be set up for long term success in this position.  A good majority of this position will be account management, and serving your clients as a technical resource.  There will be some new business hunting as well, but that is not the primary part of this role.
  • The territory will include much of the Southwestern US Region.  That said, an ideal home location for this Rep will be the Las Vegas, NV area.  However, there is some flexibility on home location as long as travel throughout the Southwest is not an issue.

Compensation in this position will include a starting base salary in the $45k range, with commission you will be around $65k-$70k in the first year.  The package will also include excellent benefits, car allowance, cell phone, laptop, travel and business expenses and more.

Requirements for this position include at least two years of successful industrial sales experience, selling to either the power generation, chemical petrochemical or similar industries.  A Bachelors Degree is also required.  Candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed for business.
